I used to just be your typical mom, busy as heck, just trying to get everything done by dinnertime, but all the while, being aware that there's much more my family and I could be doing to ensure that the children I love so much have a healthy planet to grow up on. I have always known about the poor working conditions, and the huge environmental impact of the fast-fashion clothing industry, but didn't think there was much I could do about it. However, my love for sewing has opened my eyes and helped me realize that I am capable of sourcing high quality, ethically produced fabrics, and designing simple and modern styles that I absolutely love, without the use of unethical practices. With every choice we make, there is an impact. Let that choice be to work towards a more sustainable future - after all, we only have one planet!
